Someone once asked me, “If you were given the opportunity to address an immense congregation of people for just a few moments, what would you say?” My reply was, that the most impactful and significant statement I could make would be to refer the audience to I John 5:13, where the Bible reads, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
The Bible teaches us that we can know for certain that we have eternal life. We can be assured that our sins are forgiven.
